A beautifully-converted & delightfully practical 3 bedroom (+ 1 sofa bed) property arranged on one floor, and nestled in nature on our regenerative estate.

The main living space is triple aspect and sociably open-plan. features a fully-equipped kitchen (there is no dishwasher or freezer), dining table seating 6, and 2 sofas (one of which is also a double sofa bed). Plus, shower-over bath and toilet.

The first bedroom is a double with private shower room. It is private, being accessed only via French doors from the courtyard.

The second bedroom is a king/twin and features a private bathroom with shower-over-bath.

The third bedroom is a king/twin and a private bathroom with shower-over-bath.

Access both from the courtyard and via pocket doors from the living space.

Each bedroom opens onto an outdoor patio and lawns.

The cottage sits on 173 acres of wild spaces, including ancient woodland, rewilded meadows, edible hedges, a lake suitable for wild swimming & an abundance of wildlife. You are welcome to explore.

Essentials are provided (eco-friendly toiletries, towels, toilet paper, bed sheets, hairdryer).

We welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs at Deer Cottage at no extra cost. Please ask for our pet policy in advance so that we can accommodate.

2 of the 3 bedrooms in Deer Cottage can be configured either as Kings or Twins. If you would like either of these set up as twins, please email bookings@42acres.com.  As standard, these rooms are configured as Kings.
