Practitioners: Hazel SainsburyJemima Croker

Hazel has been practicing Iyengar yoga for over twenty years and teaching for ten years. She has worked directly with the Iyengars, as well as spending a year assisting senior teachers in India. She currently teaches at the Iyengar centre in Maida Vale.
Her teaching style is direct but not without
a sense of humour. Although classes can be challenging she believes in recognising individual needs and adapting the practice accordingly.

Jemima teaches Hatha and Vinyasa Flow in a way that cultivates spiritual reconnection through focused awareness on the physical body and the breath with creative sequencing, playfulness, varying themes, strong poses and holds that give you time to heal and space to feel. It is a dynamic practice which
aims to enliven, strengthen, empower and inspire. She takes care to provide a safe and relaxed environment, adapting to each class and to each student, offering variations of poses throughout.
