We aim to offer and unforgettable, magical experience
We’re here to support you to create a magical experience for your guests. Our team tread gently and our intention is for you to feel held in a loving embrace. Our self service approach is helpful but unintrusive, allowing you the freedom to be yourself.
Please feel free to make yourself at home. You’ll find high quality fixtures and fittings including luxurious linens, fluffy towels and local, organic toiletries. Meals are served at long tables to inspire thoughtful conversations and deepen relationships.
You’re welcome to explore our land – take a stroll through our edimental walled garden, visit our woodland mushroom farm, or discover our magical tree house. Enjoy wild swimming from our jetty or explore our lake with our rowing boat and stand-up paddle boards.
We host a range of beautiful accommodation options – sleeping up to a maximum of 41 guests across 6 buildings, 8 seasonal bell tents and a tiny boat!
Our beautiful accommodation ranges from simple cottages to luxurious barn conversions, from a lake-side barge to spacious bell tents. Our philosophy of “elegant simplicity” is woven throughout.
All our spaces are consciously restored and furnished. We use sustainable, locally-sourced, natural materials and sympathetic methods that both conserve and enhance. 100% of our heat and electricity is from renewable energy.
The result is cosy, nurturing sanctuaries that offer peace, calm and quiet. There’s options to sleep up to 41 guests in 30 bedrooms across 6 buildings, 8 bell tents and a tiny boat!
Our beautiful indoor group spaces are suitable for a wide-range of activities. We also offer outdoor spaces including our woodland kitchen and sacred fire circle.
Your group will have 24/7 exclusive access to a large group room with a range of seating options, natural light, fireplace and countryside views. You’ll also be able to use various breakout spaces across the site. We provide a projector, sound system and range of workshop materials on request.
With a capacity of up to 30 people, our yurt is perfect for a range of intimate group experiences. The space evokes a sense of timelessness, ideal for meditation, yoga, workshops and more. The yurt is equipped with central heating, a wood-burning stove, a sound system, back-jacks and yoga props.
Each retreat centre has a cosy library room for your exclusive use – perfect for one-to-one sessions, break-out groups, treatments and quiet time for contemplation. Library rooms have comfortable seating, natural light, privacy, and books from authors we love.

“An absolutely beautiful place to stay. We didn’t realise quite what 42 acres was when we booked but I have to say it was absolutely stunning!”
The food we serve is simple, hyper-local and nutrient-dense. It demonstrates a way of eating that continues the traditions of the past and supports our shared future. As we cultivate and restore the wellbeing of our planet Earth, we cultivate and restore the wellbeing within ourselves.
We are inspired by permaculture and are organic in principle. We love using raw ingredients as nature created them. We aim to source 80% of produce, year-round from within 42 miles.
Our private retreat chefs can create the right menu for your needs, whether that’s plant-based, omnivorous, or anything in between.
We love to cook outdoors on an open fire! If you’d be interested in a unique outdoor dining experience, please ask for more details when booking.
